Still pretty disappointing all in all.

I was particularly unimpressed by what seemed a pretty gratuitous battle just before our heroine entered Andelain. Obviously, the baddies had to make a stab at keeping Linden & Co. out, but the whole thing seemed contrived. The fact that it was a five or six way battle made the whole thing a confusing clusterf*ck, too.

And it appears from what little is revealed at the end that TC is NOT happy about being reincarnated in the flesh. This leads me to dread hundreds of dreary and tedious pages of TC/LA mis/non-communication in the next book (or two). God us help us all.

*sigh*

Without a doubt, The IllEarth War.
But if you're all about the destination, then take a fucking flight.
We're going nowhere slowly, but we're seeing all the sights.
And we're definitely going to hell, but we'll have all the best stories to tell.

Full of the heavens and time.

Me too. Except, I kind of feel like Cov being more heroic ends up making the other characters less heroic...which makes them not as memorable as FF n Mhoram, Bannor, etc.
