I love the movies but i do have some problems with them.

The major one is what he did to Faramir and the whole Osgiliath thing :x That made me so angry. I enjoyed TTT much better the second time when i was prepared for it.

Jackson's Balrog was brilliant - he was very clever over dealing with the whole wings controversy. ;)

And Ian McKellan! :gandalf: He disappears into Gandalf. On his website he was asked about who decided Gandalf would do his winks, him, PJ or someone else. Ian's answer - Gandalf winked. :D love it!

Yeah the balrog especially was fantastic ... though even more stunning to me was the crumbling and falling of the hewn staircase! By crikey that was amazing!

Quite simply the films have exceeded my expectations by a wide margin. I am preparing myself for the event that will be TROTK. I can't wait.

I just heard that the soundtrack for "The Return of the King" will be released on Nov. 25th. Also, Annie Lennox will be doing the new "theme song" called "Into the West." Should be good :)

lol! Yup, "Master and Commander" - I have one question about that. Why does the trailer use the theme music to the Sci Fi Channel miniseries "Children of Dune"?

Return of the King looks absolutely awe-inspiring! I for one cannot wait to see a quarter of a million Orcs moving up en-masse to surround Minas Tirith, and the Ride of the Rohirrim! I've had a countdown to December 17th going since February this year!

I don't think they should do a Hobbit movie anymore. I think they should just leave it at the LOTR's. But that's my opinion...

Well, I wouldn't trust anyone but PJ to do it. I think it would be cool to go along with the LOTR movies. Have the whole story. :)

NOT having the Hobbit would be very disappointing. We all (should) know that the Hobbit sets up the tale of LOTR so to better familiarize ourselves with Middle Earth, Hobbits, Wizards, Elves, Orcs and everything else.
Think upon this. The ROTK had great battle scenes.
In the Hobbit there's the "Battle of FIVE Armies"... imagine just how Awesome that scene would be.
I'm very curious to see how Smaug will be handled in this day and age of fantastic CGI.

i dont think they should do the hobbit (just my opinion). when people say that it should be made to give some insight to the history but you could say the same thing for the entire history of the ring and all the way back to morgoth. i feal it was explained enough at the begining of the fellowship

I don't like these movies. I think they are very bad. I didn't like the idea of screening Tolkien's masterpiece.
But they did it. Did it for MONEY.
