I bought a 10 pack of No.1 issues yesterday for only £2.50.
So far so good - seven more to read!

I always liked Terminator's and Taskmaster's costumes. Both created by Perez, so similar.

current cake of exchange:
£2.50 = $3.90
£5.00 = $7.80
£10.00 = $15.60

Hi sarge, here's the list you asked for.
BTW, these are bagged and sealed comics and in top condition.

Drain - image comics
The Escapists - dark horse
Ms Mystic - pacific comics
(with an episode of Zed)

The Night Man
ULTRAVERSE
Rune - malibu comics entertainment inc

Slim Jack - IDW publishing

First Born
aftermath - top cow universe

The Retaliator - eclipse fx

Case Files:
sam & twitch - image comics

the savage Dragon
V
the savage Megaton Man - image comics

Predator 2 - dark horse
(with 2 trading cards)

There are quite a few computer art comics, but still great art and wow stories.

I bought 20 more comics today (£5) and might drop by the book shop again this Thursday, so I'll have plenty of reading for a while. :)

I've never seen jack staff. I'm not much of a comic collector really. Since browsing these threads it has renewed my interest.

When I asked the shopkeeper why he sells his comics so cheap and in such good condition as well, he said that he can still make money on them and he has a back room filled with boxes and boxes of comics.

I'll ask him if he's seen any jack staff's the next time I drop in.

I grew up in Dundee Scotland, and home of D.C. Thompsons who at one time were the country's biggest distributer of comics. My Gran worked there as a cleaner and would buy her magazines and comics direct. Cheaper that way, before they hit the shops. Whenever I visited her she would have heaps of them waiting for me.

It was only natural growing up I would eventually go on to the hard stuff, like Marvel and D.C. Comics, etc...

Most of the kids comics have now moved to Fleet Street London, but Dundee today still has a great art tradition. Prominent art colleges, lots of galleries, and, plenty of comic dealers.

My favorite characters were always the Moonsters before they went out of print.

He was the original Dennis the Menace. His dog is Gnasher.

Do you own a Dennis stamp?

I picked out two packs of comics (£1) today from a low price bookshop
in town. Thought I would also rate them on art. Haven't read any
yet.

Batman. Black and White. DC. Issue #4. 5/5
Megalith. Continuity comics. Issue #2. 5/5
JLX. Amalgam comics. Issue #1. 4/5
(JLX had 1 in each pack)
Legends of the Dark Claw. Amalgam comics. Issue #1. 3/5
Doctor Strange Fate. Amalgam comics. Issue #1. 5/5

According to Wikipedia, the American Dennis actually debuted 3 days before our version.

I never knew that!
I've also never read any Dennis the (U.S.) Menace comics. But I'd hazard a guess that our Dennis is a lot more of a Menace.
