Hmmm, I suppose that's true. I was making more general sort of comment anyway, not being myself a particularly analytical reader of fiction, I tend toward amusement when people (just in general y'know), insist that the author must be trying to represent XYZ, regardless of whether the author denies it.And Avatar, I'm just saying that the author's intentions are relevant in greater or lesser degree depending on the kind and purpose of the analysis.

But The Flower of Doom is a modern visionary epic...um, in its own twisted kind of way.
