The one thing I would add here is sunscreen, preferably SPF45 or more, and lip balm. Also, I don't think it's possible to break up these three books as TC didn't return to the real world between them.

I tend to agree in general but the references are aimed at the varying environments that occur in each book. I could lump the second chronicles together but what would be the fun of that?dAN wrote:

I did a thread very similar to this a couple of weeks ago, but it didnt get many replies 
I think he should have taken a solar powered car in the TWL
that would have made it much easier.

I would have settled for some common sense, but if he could have gotten his hands on that handy little mirror that Adept Havelock was toting around which showed a piece of the sun at closeup I think that would have been nice.

LOL! Long time no post, and I just had to put one in here!
IMHO, Covenant could have done worse than bring along a division of Royal Marines and a battallion of Royal Engineering Corps sappers. Just think of the joys they could have prepared all the way up Landsdrop, the constant sniping at commanding ur-viles, the artillery strikes against Fleshharrower, the string of daisy-cutter mines along Doom's Retreat, and, of course, the uplifting sight of a dozen Challenger 3 tanks cutting up yet another ur-vile wedge with 120mm HE(I) rounds and then blasting Foul's Creche to shreds with APFSDS. :)
