I had white gold everything in my first marriage. Then second husband demanded I not have that again. I prefer white metal, I have since I was in junior high school (what you young whelps now call middle school). Now I have neither, nor the burden of a whiny egotistical 40-something child who needs raising. Sounds like Linden, doesn't it? Yea, they were both a lot like her. White gold was my choice long before the Chronicles were written. I was in my 20's when the first book was published.

I have a pair of white gold EARrings.

Oh God yes. When I married, the first thing I said to my wife was that I wanted a white gold ring. Just in case.

Got a college class ring of White Gold. Also has a red color stone (ruby).. Sorta like wild magic and earthpower combined. Have had it for over 30 years now.
