Well, we never found out exactly how things shook out. Spock may have gotten his way without becoming the actual Captain of the Enterprise. At least he didnt have to worry about Kirk any longer one way or another.

UV, It does indeed. The tv forum didn't exist when I started this thread. I suppose there should be a way to have a look at the existing threads and get them sorted out to the new threads and sub threads. :-)

For details about what happened in the Mirror, Mirror alternate universe, read the excellent second trilogy by William Shatner - actually written by his collaborators Judith and Garfield Reeves-Stevens, the best Trek writers, in my opinion.
