If my memory serves sufficiently, Bareisle was a tiny rocky outcrop in almost the middle of nowhere, which basically signalled that the bigger island was not far away.

The fjord itself was called The Raw, and the cliffs overlooking it Rawedge Rim. The river was the Callowwail, the woods were called Woodenwold, and the Maidan was called...the Maidan.

I wonder what Cravenhaw was, then ... I remember it, but it mightn't even have been Donaldson!

Ok I just discovered that Cravenhaw was a place in the Land, somewhere at the edge of Garroting Deep. Glad I asked for confirmation!
