I thought the trailers looked pretty good, actually. I was really hopeful for this, until I saw Rotten Tomatoes had it at 51%. Then I read you guys quoting numbers in the 70s, and after a quick check I see you're referring to the audience numbers. I suppose that's the most important one, but I didn't want anyone to be misled here. Usually, when the critics' numbers are lower than the audience numbers, it's more of a "cult classic" movie. I tend to enjoy those. But it's still enough for me to be leery, and wait until it comes out on disc.

It was 70% farther out from release, then it fell to 50% I saw by the time it came out. I think the reviews fell when more mainstream reviews came out. But I speculate - don't ask for a link on that.

Reviews suck, anyway. Just saw this, and if you even mildly enjoyed Star Wars or Avatar, you should enjoy this as well.
It's a fun movie with great villians, nice action, good humour, and Lynn Collins. What more could you want?
Except an audio book exists where Scott Brick narrates... I'll be getting that.
