There's this one sidequest where you run around the world map. I think it's first available in disc 2. I never completed it as the rewards seemed pretty minimal, I think you get an ultima stone (1!) as your reward or something flimsy like that.kanes_son wrote:After Final Fantasy 7, FF8 was too easy! There are a lot of "context heavy" sidequests that reveal things about the world history and laguna's story, like in FH and Dollet. These are easily overlooked, I know for a fact that I never knew about the FH sidequest until I looked on an online FAQ.
Variol, I didn't like IX very much but Vivi is definitely a redeeming character. I also liked Steiner, Freya and Dagger a lot.
