Nifty idea, wonder why I never noticed it before: Mine is....
Read Seareach's naughty list.
Learn Mandarin
Visit China, especially the places my Sifu's Sifu trained.
Publish a book.
Go to Scotland, copy records, and prove to my family I'm right [they fought for years whether we're Irish or Scot...Scot won, then I found out we're actually Vikings]
Spend a week alone in the Sahara, or at least a significantly large and isolated desert.
And Vain: You should digitally record your stoned hammock sex skinny dip and bury it in your capsule [but keep a copy to screen at an Elohimfest

the hyperbole is a beauty...for we are then allowed to say a little more than the truth...and language is more efficient when it goes beyond reality than when it stops short of it.

By the way, I liked the Movie. I teared up when Jack Nicholson finally kissed the most beautiful girl in the world.
My bucket list includes a lot of travel to.
Mainly the Moon. I want to stand on the Moon and see the Earth.
But if I have to be realistic....
Nope, that's all I want to do.

with unrealistic, I'd add to my list, the one thing I want to do before I die, is NOT DIE! [as long as I can be healthy doing it, I know all the malaise/ennui/boredom thoughts on immortality...but I think I'd have to be bored a looooooooong time to prefer death]

Herger the Joyous: My mother, and my sisters, and my brothers.
Buliwyf: 'Lo, there do I see...
Herger the Joyous: The line of my people...
Edgtho the Silent: Back to the beginning.
Weath the Musician: 'Lo, they do call to me.
Ahmed Ibn Fahdlan: They bid me take my place among them.
Buliwyf: In the halls of Valhalla...
Ahmed Ibn Fahdlan: Where the brave...
Herger the Joyous: May live...
Ahmed Ibn Fahdlan: ...forever.

You wanna smoke a joint?
I don't recommend it.
Kinda burns your throat and burns up more pot than you'd otherwise smoke.
Better you should do bong hits!
Lots of groovy, deep, sexy bong hits!
That's my bucket list right there:
one and only one item!
To put a big fat bowl out of a sexy man or woman's mouth and suck the smoke from they ass!

I wouldn't recommend it. The "bong water" is much more foul.Lord Zombiac wrote:That's my bucket list right there:

Much better to smoke it out of a human skull.

Not one for buckets i'll scratch seducing a southern belle nymphet off the list. Could be painful.

Yes, I'd like to talk a despondent, full of despair ,off his rocker, person out of killing someone or a bunch of folks, before I die.

If she withdrew from exaltation, she would be forced to think- And every thought led to fear and contradictions; to dilemmas for which she was unprepared.

* Be in a Shakespeare play.
* Commend various people to their parents, commend the parents of the same to their children. =)
* See if I can get some uber-"La Leche League"/breastfeeding/attachment-parenting-mommas to put their money (and time) where their mouths are and provide support for under-resourced mothers who want to breastfeed. (that last one has a bit of spite, sigh.)
* Promote some of the parenting secrets of the Amish in modern America.

So how's everybody been doing on their bucket lists?
Mine;
make a hardboiled egg that peels properly
get my dog to come when i call
plant a garden
But I really think my list needs revision. So many things have changed. My priorities have changed.
First of all, lets get rid of the para-sailing and sky diving. My back will thank me.
and it is not important to tell my father anything, never mind the truth.
I'd like to carve a statue but it isn't in my bucket list anymore.
No more spike heels. Who cares.
Not interested in poetry anymore.
So here is my new bucket list
Finish my book. On page 400
See Tibet, Yucatan, Arctic and a bunch of other places.
Find contentment.
Find meaning.
Find some version of love.
And I am now the hard boiled egg queen
Mine;
these are the only things I can knock off the list.write that book that has been plaguing me all my life
scuba dive in the islands
tell my father.....everything that's on my mind
remember my dreams
see the arctic
plant a garden
sky dive
have an animal rescue
see the yucatan
wear spike heels with falling on my face
fall in love
visit tibet
make a hardboiled egg that peels properly
look at myself and like what i see
carve a statue
get my dog to come when i call
see the united states
see my brother be happy
parasail in switzerland
let my nails grow
see a whale
share my poetry
walk softly in andelain
make a hardboiled egg that peels properly
get my dog to come when i call
plant a garden
