Come to think of it, there wouldn't have been much of a wait. By the end of LFB, Drool was already showing signs of being eaten away by his proximity to the Stone.
It's interesting that SRD should shoot down the 'merging' idea, since he pretty much confirmed it in TOT:Vraith wrote:And Solar...that was a very interesting observation...for a number of reasons, it increased both my respect for and concern about the Insequent.
