I don't believe AATE is a big enough release for Amazon to get it to you by release date (Harry Potters were guaranteed release day delivery, but, I'm pretty sure Fatal Revenant took several days after release date to arrive). I ordered mine through Amazon anyway, though, as I won't likely get a chance to start reading until the weekend anyways.

Man, cannot wait for this book. I hope TC has a much bigger roll to play this time round. Linden is starting to get on my nerves.

(When I pre-ordered FR on Amazon, they didn't deliver it. They ran short, and decided I could get my pre-order three weeks after the book released. Yes. Really. Beware.)

I'm looking forward to driving down to SLC, walking into the nearest B&N, picking the book up with my own hand, looking at it, trying unsuccessfully to stifle the huge grin building on my face, carrying it to the checkout counter, and paying for it directly...
I love being able to order things and having them show up at my front door, but sometimes the experience isn't quite as fulfilling as going to a store.
