TC. "Linden!"
LA. "What?"
TC. "I think they're begining to like ya!"

(BY the Way, where is Wayfriend - haven't seen a post from him in weeks - not in fact since the publication of AATE. Hope there's no connection  )

Hue, in Way's absence, I think you may have established your credentials as the leader of the pro-Linden contingent of the Watch. Certainly, you have brought entirely new aspects to the epithet "Linden-lover."

That, and the use of Al Stewart's "Genie on a Tabletop" lyrics as a signature, both get a nod of respect from me...for whatever that is worth!

He's been gone for about 3 months. It has nothing to do with AATE; he and a few others tried to turn a Flick discussion into a Tank debate, and I told them to cool it. He got upset, and left. I've now spent the last 3 months studying the thread, trying to understand what it was that I wrote that upset him so, and wondering if I could harness that power, and focus it against sgt null and LZ.

Wow - I just wish I knew what that meant! What is a 'Flick' discussion and how does one turn it into a 'Tank' debate (and what is a Tank.... well I know what a Tank is but you know what I mean!!!).

ps. Sgt Null and Lord Zombiac - Now there's a combination made in heaven (or hell depending on your perspective). I think I feel an attack of 'Watchmen' nostalgia creeping on. Come back Rorsarch, all is forgiven :D

Flicks and [Hile Troy's Think-]Tank are Watch Waymeet and Hegemony forums that are threaded discussions on movies and 'shit that makes us argumentative', respectively.

Seems like a number of people did exactly the same thing to the discussion of Avatar (among other movies) and did not get nearly the same degree of backlash for it.

Yes, I know. Thou shalt not question a mod's discretion in how they run their forum. :Hail:

Was Wayfriend oversensitive about this particular interaction? Probably.
Was he argumentative in some fora? Unquestionably.

Is he missed as one of the lights of the Watch who vanished in 2010? Damn straight!
(No discussion of the 2010 MIA list is complete without a mention of Matrixman...Neo, we miss you too.)

Yeah, "most-missed Watcher" is gonna be a tough category this year.... :(

Oh, and nice lighting on Linden's boob on the latest version of your pic, Hue.

Nice graphic, hue!
Really, really nice.
I, for one, wholeheartedly approve.
...my only suggestion would be a bit more definition of the six pack in the abs...

Thank you for the complement, cho...but I am far from having the physique in Hue's illustration.

Any one that recognises an Al Stewart lyric deserves the best.

Im still trying to understand why linden would be wearing Infelice's cape, electric duds and long fingerless glove things...... maybe it has something to do with events in AATE??? (i havent read it yet).

It has nothing to do with AATE. I assumed Hue conceived her costume after watching the new TRON film.....

My apologies if I have caused confusion over Linden's attire. The only real

reason that I dressed Linden in that attire is that it is one that I personally

like. Also I orginally had Linden in a dress, however, due to the pose, I

could not get the dress material to follow her leg, hence the trousers.

The only problem I have with Linden's attire is she's still wearing it........
