Another thing that surprised me was Vader saying "...twin sister..." in ROTJ. Hey, I knew about the sister thing, but who ever said they were twins?

Hmmm, weren't Luke and Leia born at the same time, thus making them biological twins? I'm a little fuzzy on the history of their conception.

Well, they knew they were brother and sister, but nobody mentioned twins specifically until Vader read Luke's thoughts in ROTJ. So, either Luke thought it, or Vader knew it due to the fact that he had something to do with the conception.

Well, duh. Obviously the'ye not identical. My point is that Leia was revealed to Luke to be his sister, not his twin sister.

Well, I meant something a little different. We all know that Jedi are pathelogical liars, so it would not surprise me to find that Leia was not Luke's sister, but just a lie fabricated by Obi and Yoda, who didn't want Luke to divide his time between training and girl-chasing like his dad did (and you know how that ended up). The "twins" thing would then have been Luke's little lie to Vader, proving Luke to be a Jedi at last....And as for the time thing, you really need to read Ender's game so you could understand the possible temporal affects of Hyperspace travel, which Leia did plenty of before Luke got off Tatooine. Theoretically, she could be hundreds of years older than him, if they were born far enough away from each other.
