Why do you keep trying to move GenDisc posts to the Loresraat?? Do you have a side bet about *that* forum overtaking GenDisc someday too?? :lol:

Lots of good suggestions here ... but why don't you just add RAM? I've never heard of a computer that you couldn't upgrade the RAM at least a little. Have you looked up your model to see the maximum it supports?

I was going to suggest the same as Z. For the older models, you probably won't be able to upgrade too much, but that also means your costs will be low. You just need to be sure you are getting the right RAM, or it can be a pain.
