For the record I disagree.
More than half the songs from their first two albums are favorites of mine. I don't think much of their lyrics or themes (party down, let's rock, rock is in your soul etc) but I particularly like the arrangements and guitar work.
Boston's songs remind me of a particularly enjoyable period in my life so I can't quite help myself.

IMHO of course. You guys are free to hate Boston. You have my permission.
