BTW--none of the places I did it had vocal effects like that serious delay, or anything else, and certainly no video to take home...what the hell is that place?
Indeed, the effect of alcohol on karaoke is the one aspect of drinking I miss. I think kava kava might be just the thing. Stacks well with phenibut.
nine weeks since my last drink!

Wow, null, kudos for finding the perfect antidote to the Herb Alpert! Walk Through The Black Forest brought back every lame TV special with rows of blond-wigged dames with lots of organza in their skirts dancing through stilted routines with smiles pasted on, with dudes in barbershop-quartet style suits, long sideburns, and white socks. *shivers in loathing* (although to me their quintessential song is
Spanish Flea).

deer - had an apartment and a roomate (my best friend - he was a cop at the time) the people below us would blast their crappy music all hours of the door.
so my friend put on some herb alpert and placed his kick ass speakers on the floor, blasting the people below us. left it on for one whole side of the album.
last time they blasted their music...

That's awesome, sarge. I wonder if the military uses Herb when it plays loud music at holed-up terrorists ...

Thirty-five musical artists have had their music used to help break Guantanamo detainees. Some of those include the theme song from Sesame Street, the theme from Barney, Neil Diamond, Britney Spears, Tupac Shakur, Pink, Bruce Springsteen, AC/DC, Marilyn Manson, Eminem, Christina Aguilera, Don McLean and and The Bee Gees.
