Sarge, since they are in the future, shouldn't your contention be that Oz will be a lie, a damned lie... :?:

Oz is always floating,
ever drifting,
sometimes doting
over things that mean the world to
Doctor Michael Rowlands

In the tank he's grooving,
ever sifting, sometimes smoothing,
of the things that mean the world to
Doctor Michael Rowlands

(Are you still floating Doctor Michael Rowlands?)

Drifting as the time goes by
Across the inner cosmos he is calling.

His tank is isolating.
In his mind, he's elevating
All the things that mean the world to
Doctor Michael Rowlands

(Are you still floating Doctor Michael Rowlands?)

In the liquid he will ride,
Rehearsing for the final act of time.

(Oz is everfloating)
Doctor Michael Rowlands

repeat 4x

I'll be dropping by tomorrow twice. Once at 11:11am and once at 11:11pm Florida time.
The one at 11pm might be tough since it's past my bedtime but I'll make the exception for this historic occasion.
Unless of course I forget. :-)

I'll be at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter for the next few days, so I doubt I'll be online at 11:11 am. I might make it at 11:11 pm, but for those who keep 24 hour time I assume technically that doesn't count.

Oooh, thanks for the reminder! I'll be at work in the a.m. (more's the pity...) and NaNoing in the p.m., but I promise to check in at least one of those times. 8)

The hard part is timing your post so that it is exactly 11 seconds after 11:11. :-)

I'll be at a meeting in the morning, so I may remember or forget. The evening is out of the question, as it will be the Sabbath and I will be offline.

But anyway, happy 11-11-11. :)

Uh, watch posts only display the minute, not the second. ;)

Anyway, it's the 11th. Happy Armstice Day. Now, lemme see...6 hours and 35 minutes until 11:11:11:11:111, according to GMT.

I'll try drop in. If not, It's that time right now somewhere in the world, so I was here. ;)

Figuring out times zones sounds too much like Maths to me, so I'm going with the day in general too!
And I know I'm only a freshperson, but I'd like to join your celebrations.

Always welcome. Anyway, 100 posts? You're pretty much part of the madness now. You can try and get away, but it's harder than it looks... ;)

LOL!

100 posts and a month of residency when many have been here for almost a decade and are cruising towards 50,000 posts! Still, that doesn't seem to matter so much here and the fact so many of you have been around for so long speaks volumes about the spirit of the Watch, as does your welcome. I keep expecting to wake up to a sea of n00b flaming, realizing with sadness the welcoming nature of this place was all a dream. In the meantime... :bestwishes:

Then, again, some of us have been here for at least a decade (if you count the original board) and aren't even close to 50,000 posts. :P

I was lurking here for about 3 years before even registering, and see how "productive" I've been since then - considering that I've been here almost every day when work has been slowish... :)

I was actually thinking of at least taking a photo of my wristwatch or something at 11:11:11, but a stupid phone call at about 11:05 ruined everything.
