You guys are too easy.
Okay, Jaleo would be most convenient for Xar, but I just took another look at their menu -- I forgot that Spanish cooking relies so much on ham, which Magickmaker doesn't eat.
I'm leaning toward Busboys & Poets, even tho it won't be open mic night. Okay? I think our other best choice is Carlyle. Cap City Brewing is liable to be noisy, and Luna Grille might be too casual... Clearly, I am not a cruise director.

Oh fer godsake....
Magickmaker is working until, like, midnight on Monday the 14th, so Monday is out for her. So how about if Magickmaker, Xar and I do dinner tomorrow night (Sunday, the 13th) at Busboys and Poets in Shirlington at 6:30pm, and Xar and Creator can arrange a guy thing on their own for Monday night. Sound good? And Xar, if you haven't posted here by noonish tomorrow to confirm, I'll give you a call.

Double-posting again...
I hope nobody tried to find us at Busboys and Poets last night, because Magickmaker and I had an inspiration on the way to pick up Xar from the Metro, so we ended up at
King Street Blues in Old Town Alexandria.
We had a good dinner and a good conversation. What more can you ask?

My MIL puts on a good Thanksgiving! There's a LOT of people. Upwards to thirty. Each house brings this or that. I'll bring the corn pudding Menolly introduced us all to. Christy makes really good carrots. I'll do some sort of dessert as well. Maybe some extra dressing, since that's the most important part!!
