I saw Bannor/Covenant a lot strongerr, but ya that would be fine.Ananda wrote:What about TC and Hile Troy loving each other in the hollywood rewrite? All that sexual tention between those two won't go to waste anymore.sgt.null wrote:what about hating TC and loving Hile Troy?
Oh and I voted LA. I'm pretty firmly in that camp too, though I can understand where both OPALs and THOOLAH are coming from and think they're reasonable.
I think I used to think of myself as a THOOLAH member because I thought it was THOOLA (The Holy Order of Linden Avery).

I started out OPAL-escent. But now I'm LA all the way...and it's kinda THOOLAH's "fault."

the difference between evidence and sources: whether they come from the horse's mouth or a horse's ass.
"Most people are other people. Their thoughts are someone else's opinions, their lives a mimicry, their passions a quotation."
the hyperbole is a beauty...for we are then allowed to say a little more than the truth...and language is more efficient when it goes beyond reality than when it stops short of it.

Sorry to the 3 OPAL voters - but how could one possibly have not made up ones mind about Linden by this late stage in the proceedings! I mean what could she do that would change ones opinion of her and her 'charachter' and contribution to the Chrons at this point. It's ridiculous.
Having said that, I'm still in two minds about Linden. As I read and re-read the Chrons my empathy for her waxes and wains acording to the stage of the moons cycle (or something) and though I fundamentally dislike the 'navel gazing' aspects of her role in the stories she does have 'something' that draws me to her (not unlike TC himself I guess - the drawing to Linden that is - I'm not drawn to Covenant... well, not in that... if you get......Oh! forget it).

That's kinda Rash...Sherman Landlearner wrote:No! Linden Avery has tainted the Watch! NOOOOOO!

I can only assume this is just because Kevin's Watch crumbled to pieces her first time through by herself, it may have been an enemy of hers in The Land that caused the destruction, trying to sabotage her translation?

I think that's a pretty "THOOLAH" rush to Judgement based upon circumstantial evidence, we need to wait until the final evidence is in and find out, if all the previous indications of her destroying the world really do come to pass, or if she'll pull our asses outta the fire in the final hours, IMHO. of course....

*Yea, Yea, shout OPAL Propaganda all you want, the audience knows who's being fair and impartial

Um, no, it's because LA outnumbers THOOLAH, and I'm all for THOOLAH. Occam's Razor, anyone? Maybe Sherlock Holmes, too.sindatur wrote:That's kinda Rash...Sherman Landlearner wrote:No! Linden Avery has tainted the Watch! NOOOOOO!

OMG, THOOLAH is outnumbered by LA? I never would've expected that, especially if HLT hasn't voted yet? I thought OPAL Woulda outnumbered THOOLAH, long before LA did? I wouldn't've expected that LA would have a chance before the final book was was released (And even that isn't guaranteed)Sherman Landlearner wrote:Um, no, it's because LA outnumbers THOOLAH, and I'm all for THOOLAH.
