Hey, shouldn't this topic be under "General Discussion"? I mean, we are discussing generals.

I agree that the title of General seemed to have been thrown around freely in the Rebel Alliance. How did Han Solo and Lando Calrissian achieve such prestigious rank in such a short amount of time?

Perhaps they secretly ordered one of those 30-day programs from self-motivation humanoid guru Tony Robbins from a galaxy far, far away. Using his techniques for success, Han and Lando would have quickly risen through the ranks. As a side effect, perhaps the two also began eating healthier, started doing yoga as part of their morning routines, and suddenly took a liking to the music of a strange creature named Yanni, from that same galaxy far, far away (obviously not far enough).

There is some tantalizing evidence: tune in late at night to the infomercial universe and you may catch a glimpse of Lando masquerading as a humanoid named Billy Dee Williams doing a testimonial on a show about...Tony Robbins. 8O

Terrific point, MM. Holy cow! you are right about Lando and informercials. So much for "A long time ago and a galaxy far far away." Dude is right here, right now! :-)
