Maybe not completely settled. There may be other factors to consider. What if Lando had a role in the new Trilogy. Suppose he's an alien with a very long life span and he is somehow tangled up with Anakin, which would be interesting considering how they became entangled in Empire.

SHATTERSTAR, your "what if" scenario sounds plausible, given the astonishing "coincidences" in the prequels, such as C-3PO turning out to have been built by no other than the future Vader, or how R2-D2 seems to end up meeting every character at one point in his life or another. It's a race to see who meets Lando first, Anakin or R2!
