What to look forward to in the Last Dark

SWMNBN vomit
We have SWMNBN vomit to look forward to. Reason: at one point Esmer mentioned that the entities that were considered 'evil' need not remain so. Does that include our she-bane? If she could be redeemed, then would she be required to disgorge all of her victims?
Forgive me, but is this not a glaring overall plot hole as well? In particular, before Elena broke the law of death, the Dead could not cross back over. However, if she-bane has been consuming women for millenia and keeping their spirits, was this not already a breach of the law of death? Or is it permitted because she kept them inside her so that she could not cross back over to interact with the dead?

My guess, is that Kastennesen (as an Elohim) is primarily worm food. He'll get to do plenty of damage, then, just as his victory is about to be consummated, "Chomp!".
Of course, then we'll have a worm with serious gastric distress to deal with...
