"From a tin?" You mean a can? Canned corn is crap. At least buy frozen corn. It's a world of difference, no matter how you cook it.

The microwave is also a great rice cooker. 5 minutes on 100% power followed by 15 minutes at 40% power.

Never tried that. I cook corn (we call it mealies) in the microwave, but by removing the husk and boiling the whole cob.

Will give it a go.

Roasted corn in the husk, cooked at 375F in the oven is awesome. I rotate it a quarter turn every 15 minutes. I do use silicon gloves to husk, and find hot silk comes off much easier than raw and cold.

Also, the Instant Pot is great at reheating foods...
