That takes effort.

My local theater actually gives a decent amount of space per person, but they have actual tables, each of which is shared by two chairs. I like to have my own table even if I'm not using it because I'm weird and antisocial. And more practically, because they serve a lot of booze, which people always manage to spill. Not sharing a table limits the odds that I will have to sit through the movie smelling like the floor of a bar.

I tend to go on days when they offer reduced rates which are consequently pretty well attended. But I find it very annoying when people talk/text/rustle food etc next to me so yes, I'm big on having some personal space if possible.

Living in a tiny village we don't have a cinema and the nearest town is 15 minutes away but nada there either.

The nearest cinema is 2hrs away .. but thats in the big smoke. Its a drive we do as little as we can - its not far but meh ..

Im working in the big smoke for the next 5 days so we saw Dunkirk tonight! Awesome!
