I learned something new today. I'm prepared with an image for Christmas celebrated by the Orthodox Churches tomorrow. But, I found out the one country which celebrates today is Armenia. I'm trying to celebrate the season for everyone so...

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas!
I saw that there was another late-Christmas celebration day!
So it's Armenia. (The site I was looking at said "1 country on January 6th, and [several. 4?] countries on January 7th."

After which I googled/duckduckgo'd "Does Russia celebrate Christmas on January 7th?"

Well, I have an excuse to mail Rusmeister! (I almost wrote "Rusemeister." That too.) I can say Merry Christmas!

Who was our other major Eastern Orthodox (or something similar?) Watcher? Was it Wyldewode? I just remember it was some cool person who came before me! You DM her a Merry Christmas, Menolly? (I mean, it has some percent chance of being pitched to spam... boo.. but it also might work.)

The other Watcher I'm certain of is Zahir, who I hope will see my post on Facebook. But, I'm trying to refrain from the phrase "To those celebrating," and am acknowledging the season in general. So, to everyone:

A day late...

I hope all who follow the Orthodox calendar had a Joyous Three Kings Day/Little Christmas/Epiphany yesterday.
