I think that one common theme for everyone is how the books are a very emotional experience for people who read them. Interpretation is key of course, in that what one person sees might be totally different from the next person.
Perhaps SRD understands this better than anyone. Still, I am rereading the chronicles and I am finding myself in a position that mimics the new lords. A case life imitating art. Like those new lords studying the first and second wards of Kevin's lore I feel like i'm unearthing new personal knowledge.
I would love to see annotated versions of the books of course. I remember reading somewhere that Kent State University, the university he attended gives classes that feature his works. I think if I had the money I would attend that college just for the classes. But all that is personal fantasy. Before I ramble on i'll stop myself short. hehe
