For some reason I think it would be a better idea to dissect Runes after Fatal Revenant has been out for awhile. The consensus is starting to swing towards a summer break--and then to take a very hard look at the feasability and sincere interest in the Gap.

I'm in favor of waiting on Runes. The fun of dissecting the 1st and 2nd chronicles was knowing how it all ended, so there was better insight into each chapter as it fit into the whole story. At least that is how it was for me. With Runes, we are just at the very very beginning, and have no idea where Steve is going to take us with all of this. I say wait on it until at least after Revenant comes out..we'll be half way thru the story then, and will have a somewhat better idea of where it is all heading.
I've not read The Gap books, so I won't be able to participant in the dissection of that one. If we do the short stories...I want Penance.

Hooray for the MN dissection crew! It was fun to have been a part of it!
Wow, it's taken about 2 years to get MN done!
I'm also in favor of waiting on Runes.
