...the way to properly present The Chronicles would be as The Class, rather than part of a class. This is the only way to do the works justice.

In fact, if I were designing the class it would actually be two classes: one per trilogy, per term.

Using the Chronicles as the core of the class, students could then examine the various themes (courage, heroism, betrayal, good, evil, the real, the imaginary, expedience, ethics, morality...), the origins of the various names, parallels between the Chronicles and other great literary works, religious overtones, Chronicles 1 versus Chronicles 2, SRD's writing style, his character development, the growth of various characters...basically everything we talk about here. The possibilities are endless.
