I had perceived that we had developed an accord, danlo. It appears we have not. What have I done that you would strike at me with the venom that is....IS? "We are foe men you and I..." Think upon that and be dismayed. By the way I had spaghetti for lunch.

Tom, Danlo; I want you to relax and repeat after me: "Inner Garden da Vida, baby; don't you know that I love you".

dAN, you of all people should know better than to use the race card. Dang it, I'm Irish okay? There isn't anything on earth I can do about that.

Or the Irish, for that matter. For them, this is worse than the potato famine.

Tom, you're a Creator, for goodness sake! You can do anything you want!!!! Change you ethnicity whenever you want.

Thank you for that olive branch, dAN. I'm glad we could put this little mis understanding behind us. Now if we could discuss what the sun in the background of your avatar truly represents. I think it is a symbol of the great circle of life. One is born, one lives, one dies. Perfection in itself and yet a total mystery. I also think the lion seems crosseyed. Oh and I'm now a Vulcan.

Well, you're close. Actually, it means the sequal will have the number 1.5 in the title, and not be nearly as successful.

I respect your decision, SP. It takes courage to change something so fundemental to one's self. Since I'm now a Vulcan, I can now breathe free Arakeen air. Or some such thing.

Wow that is so freaky. It makes me wonder what the desert would be like if it recieved steady rains for several years and then was entirely paved over with asphalt. 8O I think we can all learn a lesson from this scenerio and apply it to the perception of our surroundings.

It was forseeable that yesterday's lesson would eventually come to this. As the morning sun reboots our bodies to yet another chance at the fufilled life let us ponder the true nature of reality.
Deepak Chopra wrote:So maybe the body is merely the place my memories are calling home for the time being. Maybe the DNA is also just that place that my evolutionary memory is calling home for the time being. Maybe I'm not physical molecules that have created the machine or created the epi-phenomenon of consciousness. Maybe I'm consciousness itself that has learned how to create the physical machine. Maybe I am a force of intelligence coming out of that same unified field that makes stars and galaxies and rain forests. Maybe I come from that same place too. And maybe that place was never born and never died and in fact was always there. I've just forgotten for the moment
He goes on to talk about our interconnectedness to the 'Cosmic Consciousness' and the Vedic field of immortality. That there is no beginning and end, that we are programmed to our "reality" (or perception thereof). Thus constructs such as life and death are meaningless once we reprogram our nueral receptors and learn to step outside ourselves.

So I ask you, what is real in this spinning Universe of realities? :?

Reality is real. It matters not what we choose to see.

So is this a basis for fillng the empty spaces between your own atoms and thus creating your own reality? In other words what you are saying is that, for example, if you choose really hard to convince yourself that your life was a comic book and you had action figures, posters, drawing, etc...in front of you all the time then you would essentially be a character in that comic book? But as long as you were breathing that wouldn't matter, because in some essence it is real to you? Then it would not matter what you are as long as you are--and that was associated with ethical tenets your were comfortable with? Or is that important? :? (of course that's assuming you also had pie, as what would be the purpose of life without pie?)
