Yeah, but that only goes so far right now. If the banned person doesn't respect the banning, then you might still see him from time to time, under another identity.

I guess that I thought banning was accomplished using the IP address, although obviously someone can simply go to another computer.

I'm really not sure how banning works. It has never really been an issue here until recently. I do know that it is NOT something Jay would do lightly, and I believe that we should all trust him on this.

If it was a username ban, he probably still has guest access. If it was an IP ban, he'd have to be using another computer, I think. Either way, he can only post as a guest....
