Well, Amazon UK has a release date of Oct. 24. B&N has the audio for release on that date too. So far, there is no "official" release date from the publisher, that will be posted on SRD's site. But, October looks like the month as it stands now. :D

If we do a dissection of SoS (which I'm all for ;) ) I propose we wait until the first week of July. That'll give everybody plenty of time to read it, and give those of us who are going to Elohimfest time to get home and recoup for a few days before plunging into a brand new discussion. And we could make July 1st the official safe point for posting spoilers as well? Provided they're in the spoiler thingy's of course.... ;) Whaddya think?

Seems OK to me. Perhaps the moderator of this section of the Library ought to set that as policy. As for Elohimfest, I am jealous. I alas, cannot attend at ALL>

Hile, folken, hear me I beg, wouldn't it be fun to start at the beginning? With The Gunslinger, if ya ken?

Well that would be me.... ;)

I think when the book comes out, I'll start a thread for it, with lots of spoiler warnings, for those speed readers among us. I for one will probably gobble it up in a couple of days, and then wish I'd savored it longer.... ;)

And I think I'll start a poll on dissecting the books.....if enough people are interested, we'll do it. :D
