Since my vote carries so much weight here I must wield the responsibility with wisdom, but having said that I haved decided to place my full support behind the drafting of Brinn to the service of moderator of the aforementioned "Think Tank". :D I trust that ends the discussion. :screwy:

You carry much sway, Tom, but you use it clumsily. I, on the other hand, weild my persuasion with the the mastery of... masters. And, let it be known, that I am not short of it, either. So, I say, Tom, it is time for battle! (or at least i would say that if we weren't on the same side ;)) Go Brinn!

Would that mean I'd have to refrain from yelling at Revan whenever he makes a foolish post?!?! ;) In all seriousness wouldn't you prefer someone more ahhh....neutral, more .....moderate? Are there any Swiss on the board???

In all seriousness, I'd be happy to Mod the forum if asked...Add Gunslinger as well...or Kin. Kin has always put up with my constant cross-examinations even though he is a bit of a conspiracy theorist. Gunslinger, although a relative newcomer, has brought some strong opinion to the Tank and managed to remain civil and courteous during our recent emotionally charged discussion. Either could provide a proper pacifistic, anti-American counter-balance for me! ;) Kidding of course. :haha:
War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself. Who is the new member who has the Masters in Poli Sci -- or some degree like that. Jemmy? He sounded both balanced and knowledgeable in the one long post of his that I read.

Jeremy Bloocher? He posted on the difference between shame based and guilt based societies...a very nice debut post.

That's right. I was impressed but didn't say so. Now I'm saying so. :)

I'm sure all the moderates and liberals that frequent the Think-Tank from time to time could keep you balanced Brinn. :D

The chiding was in jest, the suggestion was not. See y'all in the Tank!

tarantulas....while not..often.....sought...for their fine fur.....are often....aquired....for the manufacture...of.....the classic....texan..belt...buckle....yes..BUCKLE...think...on that...and be dismayed....or perhaps...over joyed...it being..one less...large...hairy...carnivorous spider in the world....

be that the case...or satchel....as the case may be....a bolsa......one should never under estimate...the power.....of a bowling ball in a handbag....applied...with firm cinviction...to the cranial region...of a would be assailant.........thus relegating...said...assailant...from would be....to....no longer in the realm of probabilty assailant.....a threat still..none the less.....you should...apply...the oft...touted...but rarely..enacted....bowling ball method...a second time.......to be sure......to be sure....that is correct...two...to be sures....one..to finish...and one to color....

.....tell me...would one..really assume the classic...doubled over..crashlanding position...should the need arise......doubtful...in the extreme.......

...if one...has the monetary capabilty..of buying...a jet.....why do they..so often lack....the ingenious device...commonly referred to as the...parachute.......etymologically speaking.....a team of two...discharging..firearms......indeed...however...HOOVER!!....this begs the question........why....oh WHY...must..ants....walk..in happy..little..trails...of antmanity...efficient....i think not...hmph..yes...

A strange but enjoyably readable post Mr. Valdez. Good Luck on Mars, Beta Hydrochron 6, or wherever your travels take you!
