I have the pilot of VHS but DVD is so cooler.

Added my vote (#18633) to the petition as well. :)

April 7th!!

:D :D :D

'Bout frikkin' time!

I was watching the first season again the other night. Alone in the living room, everybody else asleep upstairs. And I took a break between episodes to get a snack. While I was rummaging through the 'fridge I started getting really really creeped out, and I thought I heard a sort of hissing sound. So I went over and turned the volume all the way up, and underneath the already creepy menu loop you can barely hear Laura's voice.....a sort of raspy whisper repeating the rhyme:
"Through the darkness of futures past, the magician longs to see. One chance out between two worlds ... fire, walk with me."

Even at full volume you can't hear every word, just enough to figure out what it is she's saying. 8O Man that's some creepy subliminal stuff!

I'm afraid I'm one of those who never got into Twin Peaks. I remember being impressed by the pilot, and watching the next couple of episodes. But then I stopped cuz I just didn't want to deal with all the weirdness on the show.

Nevertheless, congrats to all TP fans about the 2nd season on DVD!

I remember stopping within 30mins of watching the pilot. Just too weird for me.

Great news indeed! I always wished Lynch would get around to writing a story/movie where Cooper got out of the Black Lodge.

I used to watch it when it was on, must have been about 16 or 17, but I think I was only really interested in Sherilyn Fenn. :)

Shame the pinnacle of her career turned out to be playing some chick in a box whose arms & legs had been amputated. [SIGH]. Such a waste of talent. [can't find any shifty eyes emoticon]

Lara Flynn Boyle was another notable cast member, but then she became too skinny and lost all of her hotness.

It was a talented cast! Ray Wise nearly stole the show!

Could someone spoiler that, just in case anyone wanders in here who hasn't seen the show? :)

I wasn't disappointed AT ALL. It was creepy and devilishly twisted. Of course Bob would make such a choice, when "reaching into his deathbag".

:) The more I think about it, the more I realise what a shallow teen scroat I was when I watched this. Nothing sank in other than Sherilyn in a short skirt...

I also remember a chess game in a shack in the forest, and a little red devil hopping around in said forest. Was that significant, or was it just drugs? :)

S'ok! I figure it's being overprotective anyway, but you never know.... :grinlove:

Well Sherilyn did kind of steal the show, even for me.
I dunno, there were dancing dwarves and bird-faced kids, and all the pain and sorrow of mankind turned into creamed corn.......maybe it was the drugs...... :bounce03:
