Taverner makes Middle-Management seem respectful.

Another interesting thread I overlooked the first time around. I have put in my vote. Haven't read Daughter of Regals in a long time, and haven't read The Gap past book one, so my pick for most spineless character is the Armigite from Mordant's Need. That guy was a total loser.

Haven't got round to Mordant's Need yet, so I voted Taverner.

Tavener, with The Ghadi (Rant Absolain) a close second!

Milos. And does anyone know of some craven curs from the Man Who series? I've never gotten around to reading it.

The Armigite is spelled wrong. And that's who I voted for.

El Senor.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

I didn't see Nyle as spineless; he was trying to do what he thought was right. He's essentially trying to do the same thing as Elega.

On the other hand, Angus at the beginning is about as spineless as they come. SRD goes to great lengths to show us what a total coward he is, and what lengths Angus will go to, to try to cover it up. But he's not in the list, so...

I voted for Milos because the Armigite is a relatively minor character w/out much screen time.

Oh, I thought he was fairly spineless, regardless of his good intentions.
