Yeah, I'm not convinced that Gilligan's Island ever aired on these shores. I've at at least heard of most older tv shows, but that one means nothing to me. Like Dasani (sorry, I watched a very amusing documentary about that last night...do you Yanks still have it?)

Hang on... The films only have 3 Angels.. why has Danlo listed four?

Bosley is their boss. He's a man. I think he was Bill Murray in the film.

Ahhhh Yes... but he's not a angel... he's the Angels' sex toy... or so I was told...

Using the phrase "sex toy" in the context of a character played by Bill Murray is so wrong it defies even sarcasm.

Sarcasm? No, I was told (Once I doscovered there was a sow to go with this rubbish and asked some people) That they had a leader, not Charlie... who is all there boyfriends...

Maybe he was making fun of me... he will pay.

Has Gilligans Island ever aired outside the US of A?
The only reason I don't qualify as a creature living under a rock

is that i saw a lame documentary about "tv-show scandals" that happened to be about Gilligans Island (plot, caracters the works, really informative...

)
sorry sorry, of topic I know....
(And Revan... I'm doing fine!)
Good to hear Ermin!

and Spike?!

There WAS a fourth Angel; and I would have voted for her if Danlo remembered to include her. The actress was Cheryl Ladd, but I do not remember if she took over Farrah's character or if she was a different character.

On the TV show Bosley was a little gay doofus who did Charlie's bidding-I put that up there as humor...ever heard of that?

it's an old American show-so why don't the young Brits butt out of this thread? They can't. Why not delete the thread? No cause Darth's the moderator and he loves to tortute me. So y'all have your fun and bite me while you're at it

And can the old Amer/Brit crap--it's old and it doesn't matter it's just a damm TV show and aside from "eyecandy" it was horrible, absolutely horrible-even worse than Gilligan's Island.
Here's some educational material for those not of the US--if you see the movie Starsky and Hutch roaming around--it too was based on an old US TV show-fortunately the show had good action and was funny cause it didn't take itself too seriously--200 times better than The Dukes of Hazzard.
Now all the young Brits on the count of 3: "What the hell is The Dukes of Hazzard?" (don't worry, aside from Daisy [and Tom and dAN will say: the General Lee!] you didn't miss much...)

actually there were 6 Angels all together-2 of which replaced Farrah, Shelley Hack and
then Cheryl Ladd who was something like Jill's little sister Chris Munroe. Tanya Roberts replaced Kate Jackson in the last season-I would have voted for Tanya

if I had put all the actresses up-but I can't remember the name of Tanya's or Shelley's characters.
Shelley was short lived but her inclusion was cute as she was the popular commercial model for "Charlie" perfume at the time...
(screw it I'll put them all up)

I watched the Dukes as a wee lad - I had a little pedal car that I referred to as the General Lee
