i'd definatly like to see more go on with linden. She still has alot of unresolved issues going on, and after such a major life breakthrough as healing an entire land im sure she'd liven up alot more as a character

long time no post...

Reading WGW at the moment.

regarding Linden and the involvement of TC in possible 3rd chrons:

Linden on more than one occasion used the wild magic through TC with no effort at all, maybe this is how they could both be used in the new books.

As a spectre, TC wouldn't have much impact physically and directly on the world, but Linden could articulate the wild magic (aka TC) in reality. At the end of the 2nd chrons, Covenant says to Linden that he will always be with her; maybe they are now some kind of virtual alloy - TC is linked to the physical world by Linden?

ooooh I like that .. virtual alloy!!

that is brilliant .. TC and LA connected via the white gold ring .. so long as she maintains possession of the ring they are one .. or are they one regardless of the ring??

interesting ..

Boy, such interesting ideas...my mind's all a buzz...

I'd like to see the land be returned to it's original grandure. I'd like to see how the Bloodguard carried on. I'd like to see the Land rededicate themselves to finding Kevin's Lore.

Return of the Giants, Ranyhim (sp?), and characters like Mhoram. I guess I'm looking for the same feel as the first chronicles too.

But whatever SRD does, I'll read it.

glad you like the "virtual alloy" type thing. I have the same thing with my wife - she says, I do. Could be the same with Linden and Covenant. Sort of.

I've been away from this forum for too long

I'm horribly slow just to find this forum (never had any interest in Donaldson's books except the Covenant ones -- and now a new one is finally out), sorry.

I always craved a prequel to cover the days of High Lord Kevin and all that surrounded those times. But, it looks like we're getting a sequel, not a prequel. I'm sure I'll be happy, but... please, a prequel! One book, just one...

It's interesting how close Zahir got on some things in his second post.
