Sorry. I freely admit that you carried the first three, too; as Lando did the 2nd and 3rd, and to a lesser extent, Luke, Chewy, Vader, 3PO, R2, and Obi. My frustration is mainly that Lucas keeps thinking that changing the fx is going to implrove the originals, when we all know the charm those films have came fron us actors.Princess Leia wrote:Well thats just great..... just what i need..... to be aged by a computer.![]()
You and whos army buddy boy.Han Solo wrote:As long as I don't have to carry these 3 movies too, I guess it's a good idea.

As I've said before, these are the films he should have done in the first place. By doing the prequels, he made inconsistinces out the wazoo.
And the conclusion of Episode 3 will be one of the most depressing in the history of cinema. Unless Lucas revises his mythology yet again.

There's no reason why the last 3 episodes should not be made, other than because Lucas feels burnt out. He could let other filmmakers do the last 3, but it's understandable that he doesn't want to give up control of Star Wars.
The five films we have now and the upcoming sixth one already represent a phenomenal achievement in cinematic history. The last 3 episodes would be icing on the cake.

Matrixman,
I can't speak for the 6th, but the last two prequels have been utter crap.
By no stretch of the imagination are the 4th and 5th movies "phenomenal achievements" in cinematic history. The five films we have now and the upcoming sixth one already represent a phenomenal achievement in cinematic history. The last 3 episodes would be icing on the cake.

I hate them all - down with capitalism!
"Oh of course," the Navigator said with faint mocking in his voice, "you have probably heard of House Praetus. We have a palace on Holy Terra. Like all powerful groups, we also have our enemies. Do you honestly think someone like you matters?" - A dissolute noble.
