Actually, I don't see a movie or two cutting it. There isn't enough broad public knowledge of SRD's works for it to be a viable movie project.

However, it would make for a really good TV series if made well enough.

The second time I read TCTC1, I was also watching Star Trek: The Next Generation. Unfortunately, I now associate Levarr Burton as Geordie La Forge with Hile Troy.

I don't know if Hile Troy What a Berk topic followed us here--but if not Hearth could u start it up again w/a link. I've always thought of Hile as black, no not just his outfit. Probably thinking of LeVarr because Jordie is blind and his visor--congers up images of Troy's wraparound sunglasses...

Yep...but still, when the movie finally comes out (what? you don't believe there will ever be a movie?), can you truly see Levarr Burton as Hile Troy?

Of course, by that time Levarr may be a little long in the tooth.

OK - So I'm now 2/3's of the way through The Illearth War, and for now, Elena strikes me as the Queen in Star Wars Episode 1 - Don't remember her name though.

That's the one - Natalie. I just take the formal/regal tone of speech when she addressed other races etc and imagined Elena in very much the same light.

Did anybody mention Sean Connery as Lord Mhoram? I'm guessing that Mel Gibson could make for a useful TC and Steven Seagal would make a good Bannor
