MN is a great story, if not as "intense" as TCTC or the Gap series. Still it is a great example of SRD's many styles and subject matters. I always liked the mix of fantasy & sci-fi with the Darsnit connection.
Lebbick is a true tragic character, masterfully (IMHO) presented by SRD.
Welcome Dreaming - I hope to get back here a little more often to comment & banter about!!

The Dreaming wrote:Wow, that was quick. Thanks for all the attention, it's making me a little nervous actually. Thanks for all the feedback. It's good to know that all of the legends are reading all the crap that people post!

Mordant's Need was the first SRD I read, so in my mind, that’s still what I subconsciously associate with him. Therefore, it will always be special to me.
Mordant's Need was the first SRD that I ever read, also. I didn't pick up and read TCTC and the Gap series until a few years ago.

I read MN, on the other hand, many, many years ago, and it has long been one of my favorite, most re-read books.

I love, love, love these books. Read thrice now, and am now in the mood for...? forthrice? No...ah, screw it. Again.
