If I was a bettin' man, I'd say this was vt53 not logged in again. Again.
OK, how about this:
Who'll walk me down to church
when I'm sixty years of age?
When the ragged dog they gave me
has been ten years in the grave.

Try this you you all
"Got a spot on the back of my head just begging for a new toupe
Got a tire around my gut from sitting on my but
but its never going to go away."

How about Harry Chapin "WOLD"!
try this
In the east the wind is blowing the boats across the sea
And their sails will fill the morning and their cries ring out to me
Oh, the more it changes, the more it stays the same
And the hand just re-arranges the players in the game
Oh, I had a dream
It seemed I stood alone
And the veil of all the years
Goes sinking from my eyes like a stone
Hint: its about a physician/astrologer

I've never heard of any physician/astrologers. It's probably someone very famous, and I just never knew that about her/him. At first, I thought, "How about Carl Sagan?" But that would be physicist/astronomer.

Wow lucky guess!

OK try this 1:
Sunday night, Mr Farmer called, said:
"Listen son, you're wasting time; there's a future for you
in the fire escape trade. Come up to town!"
But I remembered a voice from the past
"Gambling only pays when you're winning."
I had to thank old Miss Mort for schooling a failure.
Keep them mowing blades sharp

Ok this should be pretty easy:
Oh the devil is rising with the moon
He cries and my blood runs cold.
Oh no never was the darkness so black,
No light and nowhere to go.
My spirit is crying for a love
So tired of being alone.
I remember He came here to steal,
and You are His stealer of souls.

I will take the absence of replies as a sign that my first wild hypothesizing was actually correct.
Or mabe you like watching me post to myself.
Well, dammit, I don't need you! Ha!

I think Phoebe left us hanging. Going once... going twice...
Did a search for the lyrics. Turns out to be Black Moon by Black Sabbath.
Hmm, just to put one out there and try to get this restarted...
No more will my green sea go turn a deeper blue
I could not forsee this thing happening to you
If I look hard enough into the settin' sun
My love will laugh with me before the mornin' comes
