Oh yes, I already did.

Am I the Only person who like puisance?
One term I notice that SRD uses not all that much, but often enough, is Ejaculated, as in, "'WHAT?' he ejaculated."

...Alrite,,I'll bite,,the bait has been hanging there a long time..
...What is the nature,,the quality, of the word,,puissance,,that disturbs one into hatred..?..I am not "getting " this..and inorder to further my understanding of the Universe and my place in it,,i do need to be so enlightened,,about this word,,puissance. Perhaps, I ask the wrong question? Can the same motivational propertys of the word puissance be used to hate other words,,such as ,,well,,all the above mentioned,?,Does it also apply to the variants of the most irritation causing word..? Is the same finger nails on chalk board sound heard with puissant? This represents one of the great mysterys of life for me..this anti-puissance zeitergeist..What has puissance ever done against you? Its just a word, doing what words do, this puissance. You can't fault puissance for doing what it does naturally can you? I mean, thats the way it was created, thats not its fault. so, help me understand here,, this aggitation with the word puissance. Perhaps Maytag should introduce a new model, called " puissance", its so good at aggitating. Just, what,, what properties does this word puissance possess that it can reach into mens souls so deeply and cause the need for Pepto Bismo..or as Granpa use to say,," Ethel!, better mix me up another sodium Bi-carb!"..now there was a gentlemen easily preturbed,,but I digress..help me out here please..elaborate so I may be enlightened...thank you in advance...MEL

Basically, some people thought SRD used the word far too often in Runes.
What?

.What?..Does not a hive, singularly or in multitudes about the body , itch the same?..One speaking with the Texas nasal twang is less irritating than a whole White House full? I don't...one tobacco beetle in a full box of cuban ciigars is less devastating to the soul than a hand full?..I mean..one zit on the forehead is less than the " full pizza"..? I'm really trying , but..one Fbomb isn't as aghast as a tirade?..whaaaa.?.. a lone audible escapage of a methane bubble from the human body isn't as stirring as a protracted soliloquy? Help me here!..One Brittnay Spears tune isn't as bad as all the rest?..What am I missing?....MEL

I just finished re-reading all of the First and Second Chronicles, as well as Runes, and I have to say, SRD does re-use a lot of odd words. The ones that bugged me the most?
anodyne
frangile
puissant
Ah, yes

Tarn tarn tarn... man, what a weird word!

<gleeful> I always think of "eldritch TARD"
Lurch: I don't like the word "puissant" because it is overused. All characters (native Land) seem to love to use that word. Stave alone says it some 13 times or so (stopped counting at 13). Of course, it also seems to say "pus" as well, which is gross!

Usage: "I have a large, puissant zit in the center of my forehead" or something like that.
I don't have a problem with "roynish" or "eldritch" or "thaumaturge" or "theurgy" but for some reason "puissant" just bothers the hell out of me.

On the plus side, I don't think I noticed the word "clench" one time in Runes.

The one that has always got me which we've heard throughout the entire series is how everyone "shrugs".

The word that pissed me off the most was "preternatural". I can't believe that I am the only one to bring it up. It was a "preternatural winter" or "preternatural beast". My whole family and I went around for a week describing everything that way. "Mom, I will not eat these preternatural brussels sprouts!" "yes you will, or you'll get a preternatural ass whuppin!"
By the way, I dont live with my mom. Ok?
