Linden took out the Sunbane, that was a serious corruption of Law and Anele hints that he could have repaired the Durrance if he had the staff. If it came down to a showdown between the Elohim and a Staff holder, I think the Elohim would win simply because they could act faster than the Staff user could respond. The SoL would have to get the first shot in and it would have to count...
Linden did take out the Sunbane, but you have to factor in that she's had a lot of experience with the Sunbane. She spent months under it with her senses being ravaged by it. She was thus intimately familiar with how the Sunbane was, and worked, and its nature of wrong-ness.

Also, note that it's merely a corruption of the Law...a bending of it, you might say. There's a huge difference between something like that being simply bent, manipulated, and it being totally broken, such as the Laws of Life and Death are. I think that, at the moment, healing such is more than likely out of her league, Staff or no. It's kind of the difference between healing someone that's sick and ressurecting someone that's dead.

And I'm not particularly sure if an Elohim or wielder of the Staff could even hurt eachother. Elohim are Earthpower incarnate; the Staff of Law is a tool of Earthpower. Either the Staff would simply dissolve the Elohim or something of the sort, or have no effect whatsoever. You can't burn a fire.
