Haruchai, the DW way:
Ha-roo-ki
[soft 'H', almost unpronounced, like the 'h' in hour]
[long i: 'ki' pronounced like 'eye' with a 'k' in front of it]
Dunno if that's the way SRD intended, but I can't look at it any other way. DW is inflexible that way.
DukkhaWaynhim
[Weird, warped, and wary of dipthongs]

for some reason pronouniations are weird because i just think the word sort of. I don't ever try to pronounce it just think the spelling. Quite wierd isn't it

I'm exactly like that. Often when I go back and study the word I find it has nothing to do with how *I* think it's pronounced.

I know I have usually been "off" when it comes to pronuoncing words - I sometimes mix up letter sounds - unlike the way they are spelled - but reading can be a very personal experience - to each his own:
Haruchai - Har-ŭ-chī
caesure - say-zure
Coercri - Ko-err-krī
Loerya - low-er-ya
Verement - vair-ă-ment
Mhoram - more-im
Brathairealm - brath-air-relm - some times brother-relm
Atiaran - a-tear-ē-an
Ranyhyn - ran-ē-hin
Waynhim - wain-ē-him or wain-him
Melenkurion - mel-on-cure-ē-on
sarangrave say-rr-an-grave
Heregorm - hair-groom <yes I read it this way and just now noticed it is "or">
This is a fun thread!
