Ah - the sigs aren't posted every time by the user, they are stored on the database and the board adds them to the bottom of posts automatically. It's one of the options on the 'profile' link (top of the page).
Some message boards have an option for a user not to see other people's signatures, but after a check I see we don't have that option. I'll look into it a little more.

Attach signature (signatures can be changed in profile)

I thought he was requesting that each one of us individually abide by his wishes by unchecking our sig except when "appropriate" somehow?

Well, I think it's more along the lines of requesting the Admins to disable any signatures at all.

I def dont like sigs and repeating clever statements...for those of you who ad all that extra stuff i can assure you the rest of us enjoy it ONCE and after that once, it just grows more and more annoying.....
Please lets keep posts for...well....relevent posts! Cuz if you dont...im sending these Skest after you...

Ech, you get noobs and you get n00bs...
Some people join to speak with like-minded sorts & have a good time. Others join to be a pain in the rectum. They're known as "sociopaths" and thrive on getting everyone in on an argument, usually CREATED by them. We had a cretin like that on a LOTR site I was a member of, and due to lackluster global modding, the twit caused 50 members to resign in protest and caused the collapse of the entire forum.
I am a firm believer of "if you don't like it, f**k off". I also believe in MAJORITY RULES.
I like my sig, I like looking at the creations others have come up with, and their words of wisdom (or otherwise). At least it shows there really IS intelligent life here on the planet.

Actually, in essence, we're a totalitarian dictatorship here. The UnHoly Triumverate of Jay, Alynna and Vain have the final and only say.
Sorry to disappoint you, but everything else on this board is just opinion.
They're really nice about it though.

As it should be, really. Which is what we tried to tell the admin of that LOTR site. But she was too soft and the nuts took over the candy box...
And a dictatorship that everyone agrees with is hardly totalitarian.
