New Xbox 360 article: www.gamespot.com/features/6124293/index.html
I think I'll wind up getting it. I'm a sucker for white consoles. Then again, I might wait for the PS3. Depends on what killer apps the systems have.

So...just wondering if any Watchers are set on getting the Xbox 360? Did anyone pre-order it?
A fellow co-worker of mine put down a deposit a while ago, and he was planning to go this morning to an early store opening to get the precious machine. Alas, I can't get his opinion of the system til next week because he's booked this whole week off (golly, I wonder why!). I envy him.
I heard on the news that there is going to be a shortage of Xbox 360 units for sale, because most of them have already been snapped up by pre-orders. Microsoft isn't helping: apparently they're not going to rush manufacturing because they say they don't want to compromise Xbox build quality. Others say the shortage is obviously a deliberate ploy to increase hype.
Whatever the case, there's no question this is a sexy gaming machine with more processing power than I could afford to pay for if I was trying to match it with PC parts. I'd have to seriously upgrade my motherboard, CPU, RAM, videocard, soundcard...and that would already be well over $500. Or I could just get the Xbox 360 for less. I'm normally pro-PC, but I admit I'm sorely tempted to get this shiny new console, once the feeding frenzy subsides.

Played this in GAME today, not long enough to have a proper opinion yet though.
But if you're all about the destination, then take a fucking flight.
We're going nowhere slowly, but we're seeing all the sights.
And we're definitely going to hell, but we'll have all the best stories to tell.
Full of the heavens and time.
