"I love you."
Remind me who said that (I've pinned it up at work, and I'd like to give due creditSorus wrote:"Beating you is easy. It's putting up with you that's hard."

I do believe that's one of the best combinations of written words ever.CovenantJr wrote:That's a good quote too, but to be accurate to my intent I'd have to pin up "Conformity of purpose will be achieved by your elimination".
Oh, I loved that! Bam! What a way to put someone down!Sorus wrote:"Beating you is easy. It's putting up with you that's hard."
I completely agree with you there Luci! Sorus' redemption was a great piece of writing... and I always hated Milos.Lucimay wrote:i can't remember the exact quote but one of my favorite moments thus far is when Sorus Chatelaine looks over at Milos and says something like,
"Milos" she said sweetly, "Milos Taverner." and blows him away!!!![]()
i LOVED that!!!! i could just HEAR her mockingly sweet tone! i love Sorus' redemption. it's one of Donaldson's best moments as a writer.
Yeah... I always found that upsetting too.Lucimay wrote:Donaldson wrote:His last words carried past the emission-roar of guns; the killing emptiness of the gap between them.

Yeeeeeeeeees. Good quote, but doesn't he immediately follow it with Morn's name, uttered with his last breath? (mistyped that at first and it said "his last breasts"Nick Succorso wrote:"You did this to me... you did."
-Nick to Sorus before he dies.
Interesting. I had always assumed that it was directed at Sorus. He was so utterly blinded by his need for revenge at that point, but it could certainly be said that Morn played a part in driving him off the edge.CovenantJr wrote:Yeeeeeeeeees. Morn and Sorus are the only women who have got to him. After Sorus, he was so shielded from women by his hate and bitterness that he never grew attached to any. Until Morn. He started to love Morn, in his own skewed way, but she turned out to be lying. It's the Sorus thing all over again - he fell for her, became dependant on her (at least to an extent), then discovered her love or affection for him was faked, and nothing more than a tool.Sorus wrote:Interesting.
