No, they need to do their freaking job, make money, and pay the bills. Oh, yeah - she's OK.
But on 2nd glance I don't think that's a custum pool cue. Looks like a pool room cheapie.

I just found this thread! So, I would like to
1) Officially crack up over the last few posts,
and 2) agree that LA Confidential may have been the best film of the '90s. That's the first time Russell Crowe was robbed of an Oscar. It deserved most of those awards Titanic won. An all-time winner in the category of book-to-screenplay writing.

Yeah, I kind of feel like Crowe got DOUBLE gypped in 07, his performance in 3:10 to Yuma and American Gangster were superb. Those other movies? Meh. 2007 was an unbelievable year in film, but you wouldn't know it from the award season.
LA Confidential is a modern classic. Easily one of the best of the decade. (Right up there with Pulp Fiction, 12 Monkeys, Apollo 13)

Yes, LA Confidential is one of my favorite movies. Crowe was excellent in it.
