coincidence has it that I'm 1/2 way through the Illearth war for the third time in my life at the moment.
I've never done a read along so I don't know what occurs, so I'll sit back and watch what happens with interest.

I will take Dukka/The High Lord, danlo. I also have a full plate with A Clash of Kings (thanks, Duchess!) and my economics class! But I have been chomping at the bit to continue the dissections! I am anxious to read the posts on Gildenfire. I cannot find a copy of it. I read it YEARS ago when it first came out.
Do any of you have a scanner to scan the story and email it to me?

I'm game for the group read along, although it will be a first for me. Be gentle until I get the hang of it! Thanks for the group notification - it got my attention.

Count me in. I`ve read the books several times but quite a while ago. I have never been part of a group reading before but I`m looking forward to participating.

The thing is that I joined after finding this site a few days ago, because out of curiosity I typed TC into my search engine. Why? because I have just started reading the first chronicles again. I am in Glimmermere as I write, well you know what I mean.
I have never been involved in a group discussion. Help! What do I do?

Birinair,
Welcome to kevinswatch and to our group read!
Every week we all read two chapters (some keep on reading

) and one of us volunteers to start the discussion. You can check out some old discussions on Lord Fouls Bane on this forum.

I just got the e-mail on the Illearth War read today. Sorry am so behind. I don't come here often but am glad I found you all. I do not know what a "read" involves so I guess I will just sit back and observe this once it starts. If anyone can enlighten me, it is much appreciated.
Thanks,
Smin2u

You will love it! I would tell you how but I think I better let our fearless leader, danlo, tell you. It's fairly simple and everyone is welcome to post their thoughts.

I am willing to discuss the chapter "Lena's Daughter" PART III "THE BLOOD OF THE EARTH". How much time do I have to re-read and re-buff on it? Please talk to Danlo for me. I would like to do this. Never spoke on any subject in public before so this is challenge.
